RYUGI HEAVY GUARD TALISMAN.
A trout hook with a guard that is intended for use in light to somewhat dense cover with power spinning tackle or bait tackle using line of 6lb or more. The hook is based on the Talisman, which is highly rated as a wacky hook, but the shape has been slightly adjusted to set the guard.
The guard is a set of two wires with strong tension made from carefully selected materials. By placing tension wire guards on the left and right sides, it exhibits high guarding power against contact with the structure not only from directly above but also from the left and right directions. By intentionally not setting the tip of the guard at the hook point, the trouble of having to reset the guard when it comes off is eliminated. This shape also makes it easy to modify the guard shape after catching a fish. Depending on the situation, it is possible to adjust the guard force more strongly by raising the guard to the line eye side.
